Abstract:
Extended Reality(XR) has been fully developed in recent years. Multi-sensorial XR technology augments haptic and olfaction to provide users with a more realistic experience. However, there are few studies on the Quality of Experience (QoE) around the synchronization deviation between vision and haptic in XR. This paper adjusts the scale of the synchronization deviation between vision and haptic to collect the participant's QoE marks. Through the study of the collected data, this paper establishes a linear regression model for positive and negative deviation. This research finds that participants can not tolerate deviations of more than 2000ms and less than -1200ms. Therefore, maintaining the deviation at [-400ms, 600ms] will lead to a good QoE.
