Abstract:
Aiming at the problem of the thermal effect of the high-speed on-off valve was unclear about its structure and system dynamic characteristics, a multi-physics coupling model was established to analyze the relationship between the valve temperature, structural parameters and dynamic response The results show that if the minimum clearance between the spool and the seat is less than 12.8μm, the spool will be stuck before the coil temperature reaches 180°C. For the dual-voltage drive control strategy, when the excitation voltage increases from 12V to 30V, the opening time decreases by 48.23%, the closing time increases by 18.74%, the thermal power increases from 7.78W to 104.35W, and the coil temperature rises from 46.4°C to 290°C in 5 min of operation. When the temperature increases from 20°C to 180°C, its maximum electromagnetic force decreases by 24.6%, the opening action time is prolonged by 5%, and the closing delay time is shortened by 9.26%. © 2022 IET Conference Proceedings.
