Abstract:
The multi-sensory experience is an emerging design thinking, through the mutual understanding and integration of the five human senses, designers can find an entry point to carry out a targeted design of clothing. This could bring consumers a full range of experiences. Based on multi-sensory experience, the design of sports clothes for school children aged 7-12 years old is carried out incorporating the dual dimensions of psychology and design. The functional theme of multi-sensory design meets the idea of the coexistence of sports and functions. From the perspective of 7-12 year old school children and their parents, this paper aims to to grasp the different needs of buyers and wearers and therefore obtain more reasonable design ideas and principles. © Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Symposium Proceedings 2022 - 15th Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Symposium, TBIS 2022.
