Abstract:

The large-scale development and integration of renewable energy has brought great uncertainty to the power system and increased the complexity of power system analysis. As an extension of interval arithmetic, affine arithmetic is of great significance for the uncertainty analysis of the power system by considering the interactions between the uncertain factors. This paper compares the differences between the current affine arithmetic-based power flow algorithms, and analyzes their characteristics and applications. Firstly, the affine arithmetic is reviewed and analyzed, and the main sources and characteristics of its conservatism are summarized. The affine arithmetic-based power flow algorithms are divided into the affine iterative algorithm and the affine optimization algorithm, and the two types of the common algorithms are compared and analyzed. Then, the applications of the interval power flow algorithm based on the affine arithmetic are analyzed. Finally, the problems and research directions of the affine flow in the future are pointed out. © 2021, Power System Technology Press. All right reserved.
