Hierarchical　structure　TiNb2O7microspheres　(TNO-MS)　composed　of　the　primary　unit　ofca.30　nm　have　successfully　been　synthesized　using　titanate　as　a　precursorviaa　rapid　and　simple　route　for　the　first　time,　and　displayed　satisfactory　long-term　cycling　stability　and　prominent　rate　capability　as　an　anode　for　lithium-ion　batteries.　©　The　Royal　Society　of　Chemistry　2021.
