DSP builder是Altera公司为方便客户做DSP设计的工具,它通过在算法友好的开发环境中创建DSP设计的硬件描述来缩短开发时间。SOPC Builder是一个有效的系统开发工具,用于开发包含处理器、外设、和存储的系统。通过Avalon-MM接口或Avalon-ST接口把DSP Builder开发的算法模块集成为SOPC Builder中的用户自定义外设。
