Abstract：
英语语言中存在着性别歧视现象。本文从词汇、语义、俚语、俗语等方面探讨英语语言使用中所表现出的对女性性别的歧视现象，在一定程度上反映出社会对女性的不公正态度。由于社会生活和思想意识的变化，以及女权运动的倡导，今后将会进一步推动社会采用性别平等语言
