文章提出一种方案以实现对一个腔场的光子数实现量子非破坏性 (QND)测量。由简并Λ型三能级原子与腔场的 Raman型相互作用可得到 QND耦合。让一系列的原子穿过腔并对它们进行探测可使腔场塌缩到一个福克态
