Effect of the preparation methods on the distribution of Pt on the alumina surface
Translated Abstract
Pt/γ- A12O3 catalysts were prepared by different impregnation methods. The catalysts＇＇ distribution
models were observed by stereomicroscope. The metal dispersion on the surface of alumina was studied by 5%
CO/He pulse chemisorption. From our studies, It was found that the pH value of the solution, impregnation
time and different competitive adsorbates had significant effects on distribution of Pt in catalysts. The results
also showed that the dispersion of Pt will be changed with changing the pH value. A little higher dispersion of
the Pt was got when H2PtCl6 was substitued by colloidal Pt.
