Abstract：
本文主要讨论汉语禁止用语和旅游资料英译过程中可能出现的威胁面子行为.文章指出这些威胁面子行为可能影响原语语篇功能在译语语篇中的实现,因此译者可以灵活应用由Brown和Levinson提出的面子理论,尽量避免威胁面子行为,以促成原语语篇功能在译语语篇中的实现.
