Abstract：
语言既是文化的载体,又是文化的写照.各民族语言中拥有大量的文化限定词(culturally-loaded words).英汉语中拥有丰富多彩的颜色词,而且大多数颜色词包含丰富的文化内涵.从文化的角度来看,英汉颜色词在国俗语义上具有重合性和差异性,以及其差异性是由各民族不同的历史传统、风俗习惯、价值观念、生活方式、地理环境等因素造成的.
