Translated Abstract
CC2500 radio frequency chip and PIC16F1829 MCU are used to design the core component of wireless meter reading system -- collector. Based pm analysis of DSR routing protocol, AODV routing protocol and TORA routing protocol, this paper proposes a improved DSR routing protocol more suitable for the network topology features of wireless meter reading system, thus solving the relay problem in signal-transmission process. The simulation with OPNET Modeler simulation software indicates that the improved DSR routing protocol is most suitable for wireless meter reading system.
