Translated Abstract
Based on the study of the elders in the rural area of Fujian Province ,this paper uses the empirical model to analyze the different living arrangements’ effects onmental health of the elderly peo-ple .The results show that the status of the rural elders’ mental health is significantly influenced by dif-ferent living arrangements ,andbecause of the influence of age ,marital status and physical health ,the mental health conditionof the elders differs greatly .
