Nu merical analysis on landslides stabilized by fra med bea ms with prestressed cables
Translated Abstract
A landslide (slope)stabilized by framed beams with prestressed cables is a typical 3D problem. In order to analyze its stability according to 3 D problem, the 3 D solid finite element models of an ancient landslide reinforced by one or two rows of framed beams with prestressed cables were established in the super computer by using the famous nonlinear finite element software ABAQUS.The Mohr-Coulomb''s sticky friction model which is able to consider the sticky effect between structures and stratum was proposed and then used to simulate interac-tion behaviors between cable grouting bodies and soil-rock masses. The judgment criterion of slope instability was proposed to be determined by the turning points with maximum curvatures on the curves of horizontal dis-placement at the characteristic points together with strength reduction coefficients and combined with critical run-through zones of shearing plastic strain. In this case, the corresponding reduction coefficients are the safety factors of slope stability. The reinforcement mechanism of landslides and slopes stabilized by framed beams with prestressed cables is factually disclosed. The method can provide reference for the 3D analysis which involves the complicated interactions between rock/soil masses and structures.
