As an environmentally friendly pollution management technology , TiO2 photo catalytic technique has caused attention for applica-tion as catalysis in the disinfecting of drinking water , which has advantages of non -toxic, high catalytic activity , stable chemical proper-ties and so on.Based on the mechanism of TiO2 photo catalysis, the experiment of the main influencing factors on TiO 2 photo catalytic oxi-dation performance and launched the sterilization experiment with TiO 2 has studied.The paper presents the feasibility of TiO 2 photo-cata-lytic application in drinking water disinfection and puts forward relevant suggestions and measures .
