After the operation of the Currency Liquidation Mechanism across the Taiwan Straits in 2013, there is an urgent need for the establishment of regulatory mechanisms of currency liquidation.On review of the development of economic and trade coop-eration as well as ties-up between banks, together with the difference in banking supervision, the paper puts forward suggestions on coordination of banking laws, coordination between organizations of currency liquidation as well as coordination of information exchange, risk warning system and risk management system.It actively explores the collaboration of banking supervision across the Straits in hope of smooth functioning of currency liquidation mechanism and further development of economic and trade ex-change across the Straits.
