Translated Abstract
Based on the different characters of region objects and edge objects in medical images ,an algorithm to detect the dimmed edges in medical images using accumulated variations was presented .By judging the tendency of variation in different range ,the dimmed edges were identified from region objects .Mean‐value was used to refine the edges in medical images .Theory analysis and experiments verify that the proposed algorithm has great robustness ,and improves the quality of dimmed edge de‐tection in medical image at same threshold .
