Preparation and Characterization of A Loaden Reductive Spherical Cellulose Adsorbent
Translated Abstract
A loaden reductive spherical cellulose adsorbent , denoted as MS-ZIM, was prepared using the graft copolymerization of acrylonitrile and acrylamide (MSCB) as carrier and zero-valent Fe and nano Mg (OH)2 as loaden materials, by adopting aqueous reducing technique , and the effect of the dosages of zero-valent Fe and nano Mg ( OH) 2 was studied. The results showed that the adsorbent with 88.3%of moisture content , 1.2 to 1.6 mm of particle size range , 358.2 m2/g of specific surface area could be obtained under the optimal conditions , i.e., 2.0 g of MSCB dosage , 1:1 of the mass ratio of MSCB and Fe as well as 5:1 of the mass ratio of MS-ZI and MgO.The characterization results of ESEM, EDS, ICP and FT-IR validated that zero-valent Fe and nano Mg(OH)2 were successfully loaded on MSCB , and Fe element content and Mg element content was 21.4%and 2.98%respectively.
