The main concept is to extend the 2D texture patch pasting technology to 3D hepatic artery solids. The system pastes 3D anisotropic texture example pieces according to the user-specified tensor fields over the tetrahedron grid and regards the tetrahedrons as the unit for texture synthesis. The experimental results and theoretical analysis show that the algorithm can produce satisfactory effects in any 3D area based on user inputs, and simulate the internal structure of the hepatic artery to realize real-time visualization of cutting.
