Translated Abstract
Based on the historical background of Fujian Tulou, from both ways of literature research and site investigation, the author ana-lyzed the factors affecting the daylighting performance of Fujian Tulou from three aspects:the structure restriction, the defense need and the traditional customs. Then author tried to improve the daylighting performance in modern methods, providing some references for the future development and protection of Fujian tulou.
