Eco-industrial symbiosis network (EISN) will be recession or even collapse without upgrading to enhance its value creation ability.Industry chain upgrading is the basis and carrier of EISN upgrading.The industry chain was divided into four parts from the perspective of function,which were product chain,technology chain,resource chain and value chain.And then set up an EISN model including networks of product chain,technology chain,resource chain and value chain.This paper probed into the basic approaches to promote EISN upgrading through “four chains”advancing.Finally,this paper took the upgrading practice of Nanan stone industry as an example to proof and interpret these achievement,which will Provide ideas and analysis tools for the promotion of EISN upgrading.
