Translated Abstract
A single voltage loop is adapted traditionally when the Boost PFC topology works in Discontinuous Current Mode(DCM),its disadvantages are the high total harmonic distortion(THD) of input current and low power factor(PF).In this paper,the disadvantages caused by the single voltage loop are specifically analyzed,a new control algorithm called the DCM predictive current controller is presented,which is based on the ratio between the output voltage and the input voltage when the boost converter operating in DCM,besides,according to the output power is equal to the input power.This new control algorithm has lower THDi and higher PF compared with the single voltage loop,and experimental results show that the characteristics mentioned above.
