Synthesis, characterization and fluorescence properties of tetra-β-(8-quinolinoxy) metallophthalocyanines

Abstract:

Cobalt(II), Nickel(II), Copper(II), Zinc(II) derivatives of tetra-β-(8-Quinolinoxy)phthalocyanine were synthesized through "DBU method". The above complexes were characterized by Element Analysis, UV-Vis, IR and Mass spectroscopy. Tetra-β-(8-Quinolinoxy) metallophthalocyanines' fluorescence properties were also studied.
