Abstract:
An attempt to predict the load-deformation behavior of concrete-filled double skin steel tubular beam-columns with the effects of initial stress is carried theoretically. Based on the theoretical model, influence of the initial stress coefficient, slenderness ratio, sectional steel ratio, load eccentricity ratio, strength of the materials, as well as hollow section ratio are discussed. Finally, formulas for the influence coefficient of bearing capacity of concrete-filled double skin steel tubular beam-columns considered the effects of initial stress are suggested.
