Abstract:

The ANSYS material curve fitting feature was used to evaluate experimental data based on the material of the sealing rubber of the packer. With this feature, the experimental stress data was compared with calculated stress data for different hyperelastic models, the more accurate Yeoh model was chosen, and the contact stress on the sealing rubber of the packer was calculated by using Yeoh model in ANSYS. The contact stress distribution along the axis of the sealing rubber was attained.
