Advances in preparation of surface molecularly imprinted materials

Abstract:

The surface molecular imprinting technique can improve the binding rate between recognition sites and imprinted molecules, and thus modify adsorption efficiency of the imprinted materials by designing the molecular recognition sites on the surface of imprinted materials. The advances in preparation of surface molecularly imprinted materials are reviewed from the fields of inorganic silica gel and organic polymer, and emphasized on the preparation methods of surface imprinted polymer microspheres and their adsorption performance respectively. On the basis of that, the deficiency of the surface molecular imprinting technique is pointed out.
