Abstract：
In this paper, the principle and key technology of a CAPP system are discussed. A framework of the concurrent engineering-based CAPP system is provided. Meanwhile, the network-based database built in the CAPP system is linked with the enterprise environment smoothly, which enabled the process data to be shared with CAD, CAM and PPS system.
