Abstract：

Sufficient　conditions　are　obtained　for　the　permanence　of　a　two　species　competitive　system　with　infinite　delay　and　feedback　controls.　It　is　shown　that　the　controls　can　avoid　the　extinction　of　the　species.　©　2006　Elsevier　Ltd.　All　rights　reserved.
