Abstract:

This paper has analyzed the emphasis of EIA of the wastewater treatment plant project based on its characteristics. Results show that, for environmental impact evaluation of the urban sewage treatment plants, these are the emphasis of EIA such as rationality of site selection, comparison of tail-water outfall option, analysis of water quality and quantity, sewage treatment processa, feasibility analysis of tail-water compliance. © 2011 IEEE.
