Abstract:

In order to consider spatial effect of excavation engineering, Duncan-Chang nonlinear elastic model and Mohr-Coulomb ideal elastoplastic model attained by K 0 consolidation and normal consolidation samples with CU tests are adopted; and the whole 3D finite element analysis of soft soil excavation engineering in Fuzhou city using 3D solid elements, shell elements and beam elements considering contact interactions is built which applies ABAQUS software. The response of the whole system during the construction of the foundation pit is done by numerical simulation "object tests"; and it is compared with the field measurements and 2D numerical simulation results. It is shown that compared with Mohr-Coulomb ideal elastoplastic model and 2D results, the results from 3D numerical simulation analysis using Duncan-Chang constitutive model parameters attained by K 0 consolidation samples with CU tests are more reliable. It has distinct advantages and possesses of tremendous popularization and application value.
