Abstract:
This is the first report on addressable electrochemiluminescence (ECL) based on redox-cycling of tris(2,2′-bipyridine)-ruthenium(ii) (Ru(bpy)32+). By changing the column or row electrodes addressed, the ECL at each address point can be detected separately. © 2010 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
