Abstract:

ADINA software has been widely used in many engineering field for its advantages of fast convergence, high precision and convenient preprocessing and post-processing. However, there is no Duncan-Chang constitutive model in ADINA commonly used in geotechnical engineering. Taking Duncan-Chang E-v constitutive model as an example, the methods of conducting secondary development of constitutive model was described, and the development method and process were introduced. Based on ADINA software, the developed Duncan-Chang E-v constitutive model was applied to simulate constructing process of one earth-rockfill dam by three-dimensional finite element method. And the displacement characteristic during dam construction was analyzed.
