Influence factors analysis for camera calibration method with planar pattern

Abstract:

Camera calibration has been a hot research topic in computer vision. It appears many methods based on different planar calibration patterns. Its setup is very easy and accurate results can be obtained. In calibration process, there are many influence factors mainly including corner detection, noise, and number of used pattern image. By the experiments, the main influence factors are analyzed and studied according to camera calibration method. It contributes to improve efficiency, precision, and universality of camera calibration method. © 2014 WIT Press.
