Abstract:
One of the factors in the participation of slab reinforcement, transverse beam stiffness, is stutied in this paper. Five reinforced concrete frame structure models with different transverse beam stiffness are simulated in finite element software of ABAQUS. The influence extent of transverse beam stiffness on slab reinforcement participation in the flexural behavior of beam end is investigated. The research results show that: the existence of transverse beam influnces the participation of slab reinforcement in the flexural behavior of beam end more than the variety of transverse beam stiffness; the contribution of slab reinforcment in the flexural behavior of beam end increases with the increase of transverse beam stiffness, but not with linear growth; the integrality performance of frame structure with high transverse beam stiffness is better than that with lower one, moreover, the anchorage of slab reinfocement is superior to the lower one. The slab reinforcement participation in the flexural behavior of beam end is consequently greater than the lower one.
