Abstract:
One new copper(II) complex with a multidentate Schiff-base ligand salicylaldehyde phenoxyacylhydrazone (H2L), {[Cu4(L)4(DMF)].DMF}n (1) has been synthesized and structurally characterized. Complex 1 exhibits a coordination polymer with a 1-D infinite chain-like structure, resulting from the Cu(II) centers linked by N-N single bonds. Magnetic behavior of 1 shows that it is antiferromagnetic. © 2014 Taylor and Francis.
