Abstract:

The characteristics of products of microcellular injection molding were analyzed by simulation in terms of effects and emerging issues of the process on the products. Moldflow software was used to simulate the manufacturing process of the product, the computer cover. The factors contributing to the process were simulated and analyzed based on previous studies along with those on the foam product. Analysis show that the impact of the blowing agent, shear stress and friction on the bubble nucleation exist, which play important roles in injection molding process. The optimization for the process parameters is offered to shorten the research and development period. © 2017, Beijing Yanshan Branch, Assets Management Corporation, SINOPEC. All right reserved.
