With　the　development　of　global　economy,　the　status　of　textile　industry　has　improved　gradually.　In　order　to　explore　technology　innovation　forefront　of　global　textile　industry　and　its　evolutionary　trend,　this　paper,　based　on　patent　perspective,　took　patent　database　collected　by　Derwent　Innovations　Index　as　the　indicator　of　technological　innovation,　carried　out　co-word　analysis　of　patents　and　patentees　in　global　textile　field　in　recent　decade,　and　drew　knowledge　map　of　technical　hotspots　by　word　frequency　technology　of　information　visualization　software　CiteSpace.　The　study　found　that,　in　the　process　of　evolution,　the　technological　innovation　of　global　textile　industry　relied　on　enterprises　as　the　main　part　of　innovation　and　focused　on　the　several　technical　fields　including　textile　technology,　fiber　production　and　properties,　spinning,　fabric　processing,　textile　applications,　related　equipment　and　so　on,　which　formed　different　technology　hotspot　groups　every　year.　Meanwhile,　more　and　more　technological　innovations　extend　in　the　tiny　field.　In　the　present,　the　global　textile　industry　technology　innovation　is　faced　with　the　dilemma　of　stagnation,　decline　and　new　development　opportunities.　©　2017　China　Silk　Association.　All　rights　reserved.
