Abstract:
To improve the efficiency of forest fire extinguishing decision-making and management, the direct visual and scientific forest fire spread simulation become an useful auxiliary tool. This paper integrates FARSITE forest fire spread simulation engine, and partical system-based 3D forest fire visulized method, develops software prototype system of 3D visualized simulation. The system implements simulating forest fire spread process under influence of different combustible substance, landform and meteorological factors in life like 3D virtual environment, and may predict forest fire behavior, evaluate fire involved area. User may input data, such as spatial position of fire site, forest fire influencing factors, put circle on isolated zone, simulate and analyze forst fire evolution process under different scenarios. Such imagic, dynamic expression of forest fire spead process may slimulate human's throught and is benefical to making reasonable fire extinguishing scheme.
