Effects of different phytohormones on the growth of Caulerpa lentillifera
Translated Abstract
The effects of three kinds of phytophormones that gibberellin( GA) , 6-benzyl aminopurine (6-BA) and indoleacetic acid( IAA) on the growth, the branch number, the content of chlorophyll and the curde polysaccharide of Caulerpa lentillifera have been studied with single factor analysis method. Research findings are shown as follows. First, 0.8 and 1.4 mg·L-16-BA make the relative weight gain rate and the specific growth rate of Caulerpa lentillifera maximum. The concentration of 11 mg·L-1 is the optimum concentration of GA. IAA have no obvious effects on the relative weight gain and the specific growth rate of Caulerpa lentillifera. Second, optimal concentration for branch of GA, 6-BA and IAA are as follows respectively:14.0, 0.4, 5.0 mg·L-1 . Third, different concentration of GA had no significant effects on the content of chlorophyll and curde polysaccharide. Different con-centration of IAA also had no significant effects on the content of chlorophyll but curde polysaccharide.
