Translated Abstract
Objective:Based on emotional security theory,this study explores the correlation and the mechanism a-mong interparental conflict,children''s emotional security and social anxiety.Methods:Children''s Perception of Inter-parental Conflict Scale,Security in the Interparental Subsystem Scale,Social Anxiety Scale for Children were applied to survey in the two primary schools,two classes in Grade Three to Six,and 726 questionnaires had been acquired. Results:①The differences were significant in frequency of conflict and intensity of conflict(t =-2.24,-2.85;P <0.05) among children in the countryside or city,there were obvious differences in emotional security(t =-3.67,-2.94,-2.76;P <0.01),children in the countryside had more emotional insecurity than children live in city;②There was a positive correlation between interparental conflict,children''s emotional security and social anxiety;③ Emotional security played a partial mediating role in interparental conflict and children''s social anxiety,the value of mediating effect was 49.79%.Conclusion:Interparental conflict can influence children''s social anxiety directly,the emotional security me-diated the relationship between interparental conflict and children''s social anxiety.
