木拱廊桥建筑是中华古桥梁建筑文化重要的组成部分,也是中国古代建筑最大特点木结构体系的完美体现.在历史文化的发展进程中,闽东先民不断扬弃不同的传统文化形态,最终形成具有地域文化特色的廊桥建筑.闽东木拱廊桥建筑是明清时期闽东山区政治、经济、文化、民俗等诸多人文生态的重要载体.
