Abstract:

The spatial non-uniformity of seismic excitation has a relatively high influence on underground structure whose length is more than 100 meters. The shaking table tests were designed and conducted on scaled subway station model with silty clay foundation under non-uniform earthquake excitation. ABAQUS software is used to simulate the shaking table test of subway structure. The comparisons between the subway station shaking table test, finite elements model of shaking table model and the actual subway finite element model are done. It shows that the results of the three are in good agreement. © 2016, Editorial Office of China Civil Engineering Journal. All right reserved.
