Abstract:
Dynamic rheological properties of MC nylon 6 and its composites were studied by Rheological Testing Machine. The results show with the increase of shearing frequency, the dynamic viscosity (η′) of the melt of MC nylon 6 and its composites decreases, while the storage modulus (G′) and loss modulus (G″) of the melt increases respectively the viscosity of the MC nylon 6 melt increases with an increase of fibers. The viscous fluxion of MC nylon 6 melt has priority over elastic fluxion at low shearing frequency, and the situation is reverse at high shearing frequency. The composites melt emerges viscous fluxion only and they has the similar trend of G′-ω and G″-ω. The above conclusion could also be attained by lgG′-lgG″ plots and is significant to the processing and properties improvement of MC nylon 6.
