Abstract:
Aiming at choosing a feasible extractant for N, N-dimethylfonnamide(DMF) wastewater treating, liquid-liquid equilibrium(LLE) data of ethyl acetate-DMF-water ternary system were determined at 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50°C under atmospheric pressure. The activity coefficient models, NRTL and UNIQUAC, were used to regress the LLE experimental data. Empirical equations of model parameters with temperature were obtained. The experimental data were represented satisfactorily by using UNIQUAC model. Calculated compositions based on UNIQUAC model were found to be in good agreement with the experimental data. Total mean absolute deviation of temperature was 0.0310, and the maximum mean relative deviation for the compositions was 0.0179.
