Abstract:

Microstructure features and dynamic softening behavior of aluminum sheet for easy-open can during hot deformation were analyzed by hot deformation simulator and TEM (transmission electron microscope). The results show that dynamic recovery occurs at a low temperature with a strain rate of 0.1s -1, and dynamic re-crystallization appears obviously with temperature higher than 723K. Dynamic re-crystallization can be observed in the sheet with a low strain rate at 673K, when strain rate is higher than 0.1s-1, with increasing in strain rate, softening behavior is characterized by the combination of dynamic recovery and dynamic re-crystallization. However, it is characterized by geometry dynamic re-crystallization with strain rate more than 5.0s-1.
