Abstract:
The explosion of available Remote Sensing data resources in a wide range of Earth Observation application domains is shifting the paradigm of Earth Data Science. To exploit and acquire further insights and knowledge, the development of standard-based collaborative analytics services is considered as one of potential solutions and is becoming indispensable to strengthen integration among Earth observation application systems. In this study, a standard-based collaborative analytics method based on Web Coverage Processing Service (WCPS) and R are proposed by considering standardized web communication protocols, making it possible to effectively improve the interoperability of Spatial Data Infrastructures in terms of Earth Science System monitoring and forecasting. © 2018 IEEE.
