Abstract:
For the sustainable development of human beings in the earth environment, environmental education should be promoted to inspire people environmental cognition as well as spirits of cherishing the environment, respecting life, stressing on the respect for nature, and coexistence with nature. It would help people understand the roles and effects of the natural environment. Environmental knowledge sharing allows people to change the thinking of life and adopt environmental behaviours as preventing or dealing with the aftermath when environmental problems are encountered. A total of 360 copies of the questionnaire were randomly distributed for this study to the ecotourists, and 267 valid copies are retrieved, with a retrieval rate of 74%. The research results revealed positive relations between 1. environmental cognition and environmental knowledge sharing, 2. environmental knowledge sharing, and environmental behaviour, as well as 3. environmental cognition and environmental behaviour. According to the results, suggestions were proposed, expecting to provide new information for the practice as well as a reference for governmental sectors to make relevant policies. © 2019, Scibulcom Ltd.
