Abstract:
The Ba4Sm2Fe2Nb8O30 ferroelectrics with tungsten bronze structure were prepared by high temperature sintering. And effect of annealing in O2 on the structure, dielectric and ferroelectric properties was investigated. The results show that the tungsten bronze phase is detected in the as-sintered and annealed Ba4Sm2Fe2Nb8O30 ferroelectric. After annealing in O2 atmosphere, the unit cell of the Ba4Sm2Fe2Nb8O30 ferroelectric expands slightly. And the dielectric constant obviously reduces and the dielectric loss slightly increases. Typical electric hysteresis loops can be observed for both as-sintered and annealed Ba4Sm2Fe2Nb8O30 ferroelectric. The coercive electric field Ec, and residual polarization Pr, are 8.35 kV/cm and 0.62 C/cm2, respectively for as-sintered Ba4Sm2Fe2Nb8O30 ferroelectric, but both parameters improve to 7.2 kV/cm and 1.57 C/cm2, respectively for as-annealed Ba4Sm2Fe2Nb8O30, which is with stronger ferroelectricity. © 2018, Editorial Office of "Jinshu Rechuli".
