Abstract:

On the basis of describing the basic principles of fuzzy cluster analysis and fuzzy recognition, the procedure of fuzzy cluster analysis and fuzzy recognition for assessment of environmental water was simulated on a computer. The computer program was written in BASIC and implemented on an Apple II computer. A set of data for environmental water samples was used to test the mathematical models and computer programs. The results were basically in agreement with the experimental assessment. © 1993.
