Abstract：
In this paper, we discuss the application of wavelet transform to edges detection, classification and description. Then, according to the peculiarity of the nail fold micro-circulation images, dyadic wavelet transform is successfully applied to detect the edges and the Mallat algorithm is used in the wavelet decomposition.
